2004Crankworx-when I tried to Jump then whole thing!

Well, what can I say I really wanted to Jump the whole thing. I jumped the whole Grey Box on top before and that felt so sweet that I was like ok fuc it, you can do it! When I get in contest mode I used to sometimes blend things out and just go for it. I m a competitive Person and really wanted it. Somehow I thought I needed to pedal even more down the Hill,and went way to fast. I was afraid to hit the Box after the lip, thats why I went strait up…and had to jump off….
When I look at it now it looks quite hard;)
I was lucky not more happend than the broken Foot&Ligaments….so thanx to my lucky angels.
The Injurie gave me time to travel for 3 month in Asia and heel myself and to come back strong the next season.

Flatland Church Fight

You might not know it, so I will tell you now: my father was a Pastor, and when I started riding he once asked me to perform a trick in church for a prayer group. Now, more than 20 years later, I went back to church with my bike: A bunch of riders were invited to the second anual Flatland Church Fight in Litomerice, Chech Republic. Great experience to ride in a church again!

It was quite a drive from Cologne, but it was well worth the trip. I had a great time representing Atmosfair, and I won the contest, too. The Trophy was handmade by one of the riders, who is also a blacksmith.

I guess I can go to church any time I like now!

I got my Roots in BMX Racing so I m pretty stoked to have Jens Klünder and Henry Pawlak riding for Atmosfair. When I started with BMX Racing in 1984 those guys where already in the Magazines and I looked up to them. So cool that they still love to ride the little Kids Bike…once a BMXer always a BMXer…Jens got a 3 Place at the Worlds in Norway in 1991(McDonalds Racing Pic) and now 20! years later he took a 3rd Place at the European Championchips in the 45+ Cruiser Class which where in Norway again.

Such a good Event! It shows that a Rider is behind this! This is what ist all about riding with friends with no pressure at a dope riding spot. Such a different feeling to a big Contest Atmosphere. I was really amazed how different and high Quality the 4 Videos and Pictures where. And all this done in 3 days! More Pics and Videos soon! My Buddy Joscha is a hard working Men and a really nice guy…..he is responsible for a lot of Pumpracks and other Tracks all over the place..check his latest Projekt!
Here some words from him:

have i already said how it sucks if your laptop is broken and you’re away from home for 2 months? IT DOES BIG TIMES!
However, I’m back blogging and big things are coming up. The last 2 months were my hardest working months ever, but so worth it. Besides building the slopestyle and dual for the Freeride Festival in Saalbach-Hinterglemm, I also went back to my parents place, back to my good old home. Not for living there, but building a massive track right into the backyard. It’s always been a big dream and this year i finally got the chance to build a whole course in the backyard. With the o.k. from my parents, the big help of a few friends and with the support from my sponsors Felt and Adidas the dream came true.
This week I will “celebrate” the new track the new track by holding down a 4 days film&foto contest. 4 teams are invited to shoot in 4 days a 3min video as well as some killer fotos.

What a long&exciting first day of the “Back In My Yard” Contest. The teams arrived, filmers and photographers already set up their cablecams, dollys, checked out the first perspectives… and where overwhelmed of the track and the nice lights coming through the trees.
