We did spent the last couple of days of our two-week-trip in Peyniere! Good Times. Peyniere definetely is one of the best trail spots in France maybe Europe! And its not just the spot. The whole enviroment is awesome. The small but beautiful medievally village, the sun, the people the riders. Its just a good place to be. Pretty much all well known french trail riders are from Peyniere. So you’ll have a good session out there for sure! When we arrived the locals just started to build a new line. Mr. Hampl was there as well to drive the digger.. what else! So the number one digging crew ( who is building pretty much every contest parcour in Europe) was on about building a completely new and varied line at there home spot!
We tried to help them out as much as we could… but we still rode a lot which was awesome! The small lines are good! but the new line is the Don! The Bavaria Line – the big line- wasn’t fixed till we left but just the size of the jumps already scared me me. I didn’t jumped it the last time a visited peyniere, couldn’t jump it this time but i will ride it the next time… so I’m pretty couriouse about that! ( By the way, the line is called Bavaria not because of Marcus is a Bavarian but the locals drunk Bavarian beer when they built the line and thats it )
So we had a pretty good time… not just in Peyniere, all the spots we visited are awesome. In my eyes Peyniere is still the best but anyway its wasn’t my first time in France and it wasn’t my last time for sure! I can just tell you, if you wanne ride real trails you’ve gotta go to southern France!
Peace out! Max!
